Political Cartoonist, Cartoonist, Illustrator, Portrait Artist, Oil, and Watercolor Artist. Working as a commercial artist for the last thirty-four years. 

Grew up in Columbus Georgia. Served three years in the Army as a Infantry Medic. Used the GI Bill to attend the University of Georgia majoring in Graphic Design. Employed ten years as an artist for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution. Two years with the New York Times Regional Newspapers.  Started Rick Popple Computer Graphics sixteen years ago.
